Tara Helen O'Connor, whom Art Mag has said, "so embodies perfection on the flute that you'll forget she is human." O'Connor serves as Visiting Associate Professor of Flute at the Yale School of Music, Artistic Director of the Music from Angel Fire Festival, and is also on the faculties of the Bard College Conservatory of Music and the Manhattan School of Music.
Artist to Architect: Building a Musical Life is an interactive workshop designed to help flutists think about and develop the foundational skills needed to build a successful and sustainable career in today’s classical music landscape. Through conversation and practical strategies, participants will explore entrepreneurial thinking, adaptability, and the confidence required to navigate an ever-evolving profession.
